The Role:
The Software Engineer is responsible and accountable for the quality and cohesion of solution architecture components within an assigned domain and their conformance to approved GM IT standards and alignment with the future state enterprise and domain architectural goals. This includes both hands-on development of IT technology solution architectures as well as management of various architectural initiatives.
The role entails working with a team of AI, 3D, and robotics engineers to improve the vehicle manufacturing process. This is an exciting opportunity to use tools that are typically used in the video game industry but are rapidly becoming relevant to the automotive industry. The ideal candidate will have experience with 3D development.

What You'll Do (Responsibilities):
- You will be responsible for requirement analysis, design, implementing and testing software solutions to solve some of the most advanced technical challenges facing the industry.
- You should be somebody who enjoys working on complex system software, is very customer-centric, understands the big picture and feels strongly not only about building good software but about making that software achieve its goals.
- You will be required to be available after work hours and weekends to support any critical issues and support application rollouts.
- Review Pull requests, cross-collaborate with the developers for user stories and tasks, estimate the story points and manage their board effectively.
