- Own the full API lifecycle using Apigee, including design, development, deployment, security enforcement (throttling, quotas, authentication), publishing, monitoring, and analytics.
- Break down complex monolithic applications into modern, microservice-based architectures.
- Collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and sales partners to bring new features to life.
- Create clear, actionable design documents so everyone’s on the same page.
- Stay ahead of the curve by identifying the best tools, platforms, and tech for solving hard problems.

- At least 2 years of hands-on experience with full API lifecycle management using Apigee, including design, development, security, deployment, publishing, monitoring, analytics, and monetization.
- Proven experience implementing and managing API gateways, specifically Apigee, with the ability to design and enforce throttling, quotas, and authentication policies.
- Demonstrated ability to split monolithic APIs into microservices, integrate microservices into ecosystems, and deploy them using Kubernetes, including containerization and security implementation.
- Strong proficiency with Azure services and infrastructure; experience monitoring API usage and predicting scaling needs for high-traffic APIs.
- Ability to analyze and optimize API performance through database partitioning, vertical and horizontal scaling strategies, and resolving architectural bottlenecks.
- Certifications in Azure, Apigee, or related technologies, with experience scaling large-scale web applications and managing both cloud and on-prem Apigee environments.
