Position Overview
The Proposal Coordinator is responsible for managing the Dredging Division’s bid proposal processes by developing and executing all phases of same. This role requires the ability to meet deadlines, establish internal deliverables from the project team and provide detailed follow-through. This position also includes supporting the Estimating group with large, complex bids.

Weeks provides a cohesive dredging services lifecycle, specializing in capital and maintenance dredging for deep or shallow draft navigation in addition to coastal restoration and protection.
Location
This position is based out of Covington, Louisiana.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for coordinating prequalification sources sought and submittals, bid packages, bonding requirements, and other information required for bidding process
- Responsible for managing the RFP and RFI life cycle from drafting proposals and organizing binders to identifying and tracking required deliverables to proposals are completed and submitted by the client deadline
- Marketing and branding for conferences
- File Management
- Update CRM with current bids and update and track future opportunities through CRM
- Search for bidding opportunities Qualifications
Qualifications
• 2+ years of relevant experience preferred
• Bachelor’s or Associate’s Degree preferred
• Self-sufficient with minimal guidance, able to work on their own
• Experience in defining, scheduling, and managing the proposal preparation process, including the ability to understand and analyze the details of an IFB/RFP/RFQ
• Proficient skills in standard office software packages
• Ability to work a 40-hour work week, M-F, 8 a.m. – 5 p.m., additional hours as needed Willingness and ability to travel required
• This position requires fluent use of the verbal and written English language
