What does a successful Portfolio Manager do at Fiserv?
You will manage a portfolio of projects, programs and processes, including ensuring the engagement of departments within the Business Unit, Finance, Application Development, PMO, and/or input from Subject Matter Experts (SMEs). You will work with the Enterprise Level Project and Portfolio Management office to ensure the data integrity of the work meets enterprise standards, be responsible for the Key Performance Indicator reporting, and data hygiene of the portfolio including governance, creation and implementation, defect clean up and ad hoc reporting.
What you will do:
- Process, owner of the project submission, process adherence and financial approval for projects
- Assist with the development of and adherence to the project portfolio model
- Institutionalize and maintain the project submission and prioritization process and measure portfolio health, status, and variances against a baseline
- Maintain the portfolio on an ongoing basis to include, but not limited to, existing and pending projects, change control, strategic alignment, ensuring all projects meet data integrity standards
- Communicate and report to stakeholders using effective reporting tools including insight, options, and recommendations that demonstrate compliance with organizational goals and standards
- Act as an escalation point for projects that may be in jeopardy due to risk or issues experienced during the project creation, life cycle, or project closure
- Expedite projects, planned or unplanned, as necessary to meet the overall objectives and ensure the projects delivered to the project management office include all necessary artifacts and SME knowledge required to make the project successful
- Provide training and governance support of corporate portfolio management tools and work across business segments effectively
What you will need to have:
- 6+ years of Organizational Governance—maintenance and establishment
- 3+ years of experience in the following:
- Budgeting
- Process & Project Management
- Managing in a Matrix Environment
- Data Analytics / Measurement of Effectiveness / Key Performance Indicators
- 2+ years of experience in Advanced Excel, Power BI, Clarity, Jira
- Bachelor’s degree in business or computer science or an equivalent combination of education, work, and/or military experience
What would be great to have:

- Experience in Presentation building, Coaching and Training
