TITLE: Software Architecture - Advisor
EMPLOYER: Fiserv Solutions, LLC
LOCATION: Milwaukee, WI (and various unanticipated locations throughout the US subject to authorization from management)
DUTIES: Design databases, conduct code reviews, and integrate different operation data sources and build data pipelines for loading into Enterprise databases. Develop applications leveraging Java, Python and Prolog modules. Provide production support for business applications including monitoring platforms for systemic issues, reviewing and notifying current environments for utilization and preparing plans for scaling. Execute BAU changes on the infrastructure for application requirements or product requirement. Design, document and implement automation pipelines, develop self service features, and design and develop configuration management workflows and delivery jobs. Document and update existing documents for project setup and maintenance. Work laterally across business units to achieve objectives.
REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field and 7 years in any job title involving software engineering experience in building application software. Prior experience must include 5 years in the following: Working with TCL Programming Language, Java Programming Language, Python Programming Language, or Prolog Programming Language; Working with SQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, Redis, and Cassandra databases; Application performance tuning; Supporting applications in a production environment; Working with storage retrieval, ETL and analysis of large datasets. Prior experience must include 3 years architecting cloud-based infrastructures including AWS, Azure and GCP.
