About your role:
As a Software Development Engineering, also known as Token Service Provision Support leader, you will lead detection and troubleshooting of issues that affect normal operations of our TSP services across multiple platforms and application: Trust Service Manager (TSM), Instant Digital Issuance (IDI), Push Provisioning and CardInk; this includes deploying and maintaining Windows clusters, adding and removing application Web Services, and keeping a track of all the running Windows and application batch jobs.
What you’ll do:
- Configure Windows Administration and troubleshoot issues to make sensitive/critical configuration changes to the Windows environment
- Participate in 24x7 on-call rotation to address Service Point escalated issues impacting Financial Institutions, token provisioning, transaction processing, and access to Payments surrounds that leverages the TSP environment
- Create application monitoring scripts and automate alerts to inform technical and product teams of problems
- Engage on deliverables in progress: providing feedback, gathering information for research/validation, ensuring AppOps has all artifacts and information required to support production
- Support Switch systems maintenance events and escalation or assistance requests from other business units in support of One Fiserv and recommend performance & infrastructure capacity improvements as well as enhancements to existing scripts and utilities in use
- Work with Change Management/Release Managers on the evaluation of change events and in planning work items for production deployment
- Participate in code and infrastructure patch installations or fallbacks. Validate systems are operating as they should, following a completed installation of new code or patches to the environment
- Document install and new defects, and assign severity to the problem that occurred, and work with various teams to determine root cause and work with offshore associates to assume the same
Experience you’ll need to have:
- 7+ years of experience in Windows administration and development
- 7+ years of experience in technical experience with Windows, Security/HSM hardware, Windows Systems/Administration experience
- Knowledge of certificate management and provisioning in Azure or AWS
- Experience with Lean / Agile development methodologies and Oracle, Shell and Perl scripting
- This position necessitates around the clock coverage via a follow-the-sun model which includes participating in a rotating on-call schedule
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science/information systems, or equivalent
Experience that would be great to have:
- Proficient in Linux commands and administration
- Certifications: Plastic certification is a plus, Knowledge of ITIL production support best practices
