Job Summary: Acts as a liaison between IT development groups and business units for the development and implementation of new systems and enhancement of current systems. Evaluates new applications, system requirements, developments in field of expertise, and evolving business needs to recommend appropriate solutions and alternatives. Under general direction, uses specialized knowledge or skills to solve complex and unique problems, or direct the daily activities of a business, technical support, or functional support team. Establishes priorities for the completion of assigned tasks. Uses judgment to interpret internal and external issues and develop best practices. May direct resources, prioritize tasks and provide guidance to less experienced team members. Relies upon experience, interpersonal skills, and broad knowledge of field to ensure task completion in compliance with policies, procedures, and business strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develops and applies advanced methods, theories and research techniques in the investigation and solution of complex and difficult system design requirements and problems requiring the expert application of advanced knowledge
- Plans, conducts and technically directs projects or major phases of significant projects, coordinating the efforts of engineers and technical support staff in the performance of assigned projects
- Experience performing technical planning, system integration, testing and functional management. Technical and strategic data analytical. Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints. Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications.
- Supporting requirements analysis, requirement generation, scheduling, and trade studies. Excellent communications, both written and verbal to brief large groups and senior leaders, and the ability to support and lead teams
- Must be capable of synthesizing system applications-related information to include the mission requirement, nuclear planning, threat capabilities and the intended operational environment, while applying fundamental concepts, processes, practices and procedures.
- Must be capable of working on multiple complex work assignments to develop plans and solutions, coordinate and integrate system related requirements to support operational needs
Work Environment:
- Location: On-Site
- Travel Requirements: Minimal 0-20%
- Working Hours: Standard
Qualifications Required:
- Experience managing network using Application Centric Infrastructure
- Experience developing and implementing AI/ML based solutions (AIOps/MLOps)
- Experience with IT process automation integration
- Skills required for this job are typically acquired through the completion of a Bachelor’s degree, Master’s degree or Doctorate degree and
- A minimum of at least 12 years of applicable progressively complex systems design experience, including hardware/software integration of complex systems
- Active Top Secret security clearance
Desired:
- Experience with the cybersecurity and sustainment, or acquisition
- ITIL certification
