About your role:
As a Virtualization Engineer, you’ll be a key contributor in designing, implementing, and maintaining our IT infrastructure. You will play a crucial role in ensuring that our systems are robust, reliable, and scalable to meet the needs of our business and clients. By working closely with cross-functional teams, you will deliver innovative engineering solutions that enhance the performance and security of our technology environment. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on complex technical challenges and contribute to the continuous improvement of our IT infrastructure.
What you'll do:
- Design and implement IT infrastructure solutions that meet business requirements
- Perform regular maintenance and upgrades to ensure system reliability and performance
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex system issues, minimizing downtime
- Collaborate with other teams to integrate new technologies and improve existing systems
- Conduct performance tuning and optimization of systems
- Develop and maintain documentation for system configurations and procedures

Experience you'll need to have:
- 6+ years of experience in systems engineering or administration role in a Linux and/or Windows operating systems
- 4+ years of experience with server virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V)
- 4+ years of experience with network architecture and protocols
- 2+ years of automation experience (Powershell, Python)
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, or a relevant field, or an equivalent combination of education, work, and/or military experience
Experience that would be great to have:
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
- Experience with disaster recovery planning and implementation
- VMWare Certified Professional Certification (VCP) or other industry certifications
