What does a successful Resiliency Coordinator do at Fiserv?
As a Resiliency Coordinator, you will support and strengthen the resiliency of Fiserv Output Solutions’ operations. You will play a key role in evaluating existing disaster recovery and business continuity plans, identifying gaps, and implementing improvements. You will work closely with site operations, IT, facilities, and enterprise continuity teams to ensure site readiness, documentation accuracy, and recovery effectiveness across all Output Solutions locations.
What you will do:
- Assess the current state of Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity processes across print and plastics facilities, ensuring comprehensive evaluations and identifying critical improvement areas.
- Collaborate with site leaders and functional owners to gather necessary information, uncover undocumented dependencies, and identify gaps or inconsistencies in recovery strategies to enhance overall recovery readiness.
- Develop and implement scalable and sustainable Disaster Recovery plans where they are missing or insufficient, ensuring alignment with enterprise standards and regulatory requirements for robust and compliant recovery frameworks.
- Facilitate regular Disaster Recovery exercises, tabletop tests, and recovery simulations to validate preparedness, uncover deficiencies, and drive continuous improvement across all recovery processes.
- Ensure that site-specific Disaster Recovery documentation—including runbooks, contact lists, critical dependencies, and restoration steps—is meticulously accurate, consistently up to date, and easily executable under pressure.
- Coordinate with enterprise risk and continuity teams to maintain alignment with broader Fiserv continuity strategies and meet audit requirements, providing seamless integration across all recovery efforts.
- Track recovery metrics, risk items, and remediation plans, delivering regular and actionable reporting to leadership and stakeholders to ensure transparency and drive ongoing recovery enhancements.
- Act as a central point of contact during actual disruption events, coordinating the execution of recovery steps meticulously and documenting outcomes thoroughly for post-incident reviews.
What you will need to have:
- 6+ years of experience in disaster recovery, business continuity, operations risk, or IT service continuity roles, including environments with evolving DR maturity and building documentation, processes, and governance from the ground up.
- 6+ years of knowledge of disaster recovery testing methodologies, business impact analysis (BIA), and risk assessments.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of educational background, related experience, and/or military experience.
What would be great to have:
- Experience in high-volume production environments (e.g., print, plastics, card manufacturing).
- Familiarity with recovery standards and frameworks (e.g., ISO 22301, NIST, FFIEC).
- Experience coordinating cross-functional recovery teams across facilities and disciplines (operations, IT, facilities, compliance).
- Prior experience in tools such as SharePoint, Excel, ServiceNow, and project tracking systems.
- Experience creating DR documentation and executive-level reporting.
