This is a contingent position based upon contract award
KBR is seeking a highly motivated and career-oriented Quality Control Manager to join our team supporting a government client with locations in Washington Metropolitan Area. In this role you will be part of the acquisition management team.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop, implement, and manage Quality Assurance and Quality Control processes for various programs over their life cycle, ensuring that employees and contractors meet their responsibilities for product quality in accordance with requirements and expectations, and that systems created meet requirements.
Plan and direct activities concerned with development, application, and maintenance of quality standards for engineering processes as well as other processes on the contract.
Provide an independent assessment of how the project(s) processes being implemented are performing relative to the defined process and recommends methods to optimize the organization's process.
Qualifications Required:
Clearance Requirement: TS/SCI
5 years experience with large, complex requirements of similar scope of experience
Industry recognized certification in Quality Assurance (i.e., ISO, ASQ) or Facility Management
Training and/or certifications related to Quality Control and Quality Assurance.
Experience developing project Quality Assurance Plans and the implementation of procedures that conform.
Experience working with teams to implement QA/QC procedures and to monitor performance relative to those procedures.
Experience reviewing and ensuring the adequacy of all test plans, procedures, and reports for assigned programs.
