Compensation Range:
Annual Salary: $70,092.00 - $94,622.00
Position Summary
With limited supervision, support a variety of projects regarding internal and external marketing campaigns and student recruitment and engagement initiatives for the National University System (NUS). A key player in supporting brand reputation and awareness marketing efforts and leading planned and ad-hoc—functional manager providing marketing and administrative support to the Associate Director of Marketing.
Essential Functions:
- Manages day-to-day projects from inception to completion, including planning, resource coordination, meetings, and documentation.
- Develops, communicates, and maintains project schedules, budgets, and specifications.
- Partners with the Associate Director of Marketing to optimize referral program initiatives, media relations, link building, community and partnership engagement, and internal communications—collaborating cross-functionally with key stakeholders as needed.
- Proactively conducts audience research to develop relevant outreach strategies and engagement approaches.
- Provides regular updates on project status and strategic recommendations to clients and team members; escalates issues through appropriate channels as needed.
- Manages data input to ensure accurate campaign tracking through the lead management and CRM systems and utilizes analytical tools to generate performance reports by source, location, and other key metrics.
- Supports cross-functional initiatives in collaboration with internal teams (Marketing Automation, Brand and Product Marketing, Paid Media, Creative, Enrollment) and external partners (Office of Communications, Workforce Education Solutions, Student Experience, Finance, Accounting) as well as third-party vendors (e.g., Student Store).
- Delivers strategic solutions and recommendations based on industry trends, audience insights, and competitive analysis.
- Develops and maintains reporting tools and dashboards to provide actionable insights, evaluate program performance, and guide future initiatives.
- Contributes to annual planning, budgeting, and monthly reforecasting for referral and review programs.

Requirements:
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Advertising, Communications or related field, required.
- Four (4) years relevant experience in marketing, project management, data management or analytics; or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
- Experience within the higher education industry, a plus, but not required; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

- Solid understanding of marketing principles and practices, including creative writing, email and social media campaigns, and a foundational grasp of multi-channel media strategy. Knowledge of digital agency structures and workflows, including creative and development processes.
- Basic knowledge of project management and related tools such as Basecamp, Trello, or Teamwork is a plus. Highly organized with strong time management and prioritization capabilities.
- The ability to track and analyze campaign outcomes using marketing tools such as Eloqua and Google Analytics is desirable.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) with the ability to learn and adapt to new systems and technologies as needed to deliver results.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage and collaborate with a wide range of individuals across diverse communities. Skilled in both verbal and written communication.
- Ability to work independently while fostering a collaborative, cooperative spirit within teams of varying sizes and backgrounds. Capable of managing multiple deadlines in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with shifting priorities.
