What You'll Be Doing

  • Conducting routine and specialized laboratory tests on building materials.
  • Recording and analyzing data to ensure quality standards are met.
  • Maintaining and calibrating laboratory equipment.
  • Set up and run concrete trial batches, sample and test aggregates from production facilities, customers and job sites.
  • Testing plastic and hardened concrete properties such as: slump, air content, unit weight, temperature, time of set and compressive strengths at various ages.

  • Proficiency in using laboratory equipment and software.
  • Effective communication skills.

Conditions of Employment

  • Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check.
  • Some positions require FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing.
  • ACI Field Testing Grade 1 certification preferred, but required within the first 6 months of employment
  • ACI Strength certification within one year
  • ACI Lab certification within first 2 years

Work Environment

  • Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level.

What We Offer

  • $35.49 to $35.49 per hour
