Role Definition
Solve challenging engineering problems involving products, systems, and components using advanced simulation techniques and analysis.
Responsibilities
• Collaborate with customers and leadership to scope and execute projects that meet the needs of the business
• Model circuit/ wire routing, test bench setup as per CISPR, antenna,
• Perform radiated/ conducted emission, immunity, coupling simulation
• Performing board-level SI/PI & EMI/EMC simulation using ANSYS/CST tool
• Perform structural and electrical simulations related to EV transmission system
• Perform the analysis and suggest the design improvements to expert engineer for approval.
• Meshing and Simulation for stiffness, strength and durability calculations of structural parts and assemblies under different loading conditions
• Accountable for delivering timely, high-quality simulation and analysis impacting products/processes and providing clear recommendations to stakeholders
• To provide the critical locations/ parameters to the Testing team for physical testing on track/ component level.
• Keep up-to-date on new technologies and drive continuous improvement to established techniques
• Requires a degree in an accredited Engineering, Computer Science, or Materials Science curriculum.
Basic Knowledge
• Must have experience in CST, HFSS, FEKO, LT Spice, PSpice tools, or equivalent
• Must have experience in S-Parameter, Coupling simulations, PCB Conducted Emission Simulation, PCB Radiated Emission Simulation, RF pre-post layout simulations, EMI/EMC simulations - RE, CE, RI, CI, ESD, EFT, Surge
• Solid understanding of circuits and PCB layouts
• Sound knowledge of Electromagnetics & TL theory, signal integrity, and power integrity
• Knowledge of EMI/EMC certification standards
• Experience in troubleshooting EMI issues with good knowledge of hardware design
• Good in communication & ability to work well in a diverse, cross-functional, and global team
Degree Requirement
B. Tech/M. Tech in Electrical Engineering/ Electrical and Electronic Engineering from reputed Institute with atleast 8 to 10 years’ experience
