What does a successful Director, Sales Operations do at Fiserv?
The Director, Sales Operations works with specific Sales teams and Demand Creation leaders to craft and support team strategy, manage the day-to-day operations, and ensure the teams have the tools and resources needed for success. This role requires building strong working relationships with front-line sales teams and other departments across the organization to effectively monitor and report on process and system adoption and adherence, identifying areas for improvement.
What you will do:
- Address operational issues to allow Sales Leaders to focus on opportunity management, sales associates, and the businesses.
- Enhance sales-related processes, programs, and change management through direct and indirect team members/stakeholders.
- Manage large programs in areas such as demand generation, deal governance, opportunity advancement, and reporting and analysis.
- Provide relevant insights for cadence-driven processes enabling business focus, sales execution, and transparency (e.g., bi-monthly forecasts, pipeline status).
- Drive alignment between Sales organization efforts and the businesses supported.
- Act as a channel for cascading information into the business unit and for outbound communication.
- Plan and execute the rollout of processes and supporting technology platforms such as CRM and data analysis tools for sales forecasting, planning, and demand generation.
- Identify, develop, monitor, and analyze sales performance KPIs and metrics.
What you will need to have:
- 8+ years of experience in Sales Enablement, Sales Support, or Sales Operations roles in a large, multi-divisional organization.
- Experience in developing and leading high-performance teams.
- Experience in successfully leading ad-hoc teams without direct lines of reporting.
- Demonstrated understanding of key sales performance metrics and processes (pipeline, forecasting, demand generation).
- Proficiency in Salesforce or similar CRM, with the ability to create queries and reports.
- Bachelor's degree preferred in Business Administration, Information Systems, Accounting, or Finance, and/or equivalent military experience.
