What does an exceptional Sr. Application Developer Lead do?
We're looking for a Sr. Angular Developer Lead to join our software development organization. You will help modernize the design and development of Fiserv’s Treasure flagship. Seeking a Sr. developer and team player to implement requirements to code, collaboration with product for system integrations and feasibility studies, while solving the most complex software topics.
As an Sr. Application Developer, you can look forward to:
- Work closely with the solution architects and implement the solution
- Partnering with product owners to understand the business requirements and provide technical insights for the solution.
- Lead a group of developers, ensure the code quality on the way to production
- Developing high quality and high-performance Spring Boot micro services and bring them to the Kubernetes Cloud architecture
- Preparing and reviewing technical designs, code reviews, and delivery of high-quality architecture.
- Work closely with the test automation team
- Partnering with scrum teams to promote DevOps as a culture driving improvements through CI/CD processes.
- Mentoring developers during projects to ensure continuous improvement.
- Integrating the code into a fully automated CI/CD pipeline with the goal to push directly to production.
- Display strong verbal and written communication, with ability to communicate effectively with all levels of an organization.
Basic qualifications for consideration:
- Bachelor’s Degree with 10 years of software development experience.
- 5-7 years of hands-on experience in Angular Development
- Spring frameworks (Spring Boot, Spring Batch, Spring Security, etc.)
- Exposure to administering & consuming cloud platforms. Preferrable Azure
- Exposure to Restful APIs, API gateways, preferable Apigee.
- Experience in software architecture, design, development, networking, virtualized platforms (cloud), and distributed systems (SOA & Microservices).
Preferred Qualifications for consideration:
- Building distributed, service oriented, microservices-style and cloud-based application architectures.
- Automation testing, mock frameworks, virtual services and performance testing
- Related banking industry experience in platforms, banking applications, or online financial solutions.
- Experience developing in high performance applications using multi-threading and pooling.
- Advanced knowledge of Continuous Integrations and delivery concepts, experience with GitHub Enterprise or similar
