About this role:Wells Fargo's Corporate & Investment Bank is seeking an Investment Banking Program Associate for the Client Growth Segments Group.
The Associate is commonly described as the "quarterback" on the deal and provides the services below as part of a team consisting of Analysts, Vice Presidents, Directors, and Managing Directors.
• Ensures communication throughout the deal team
• Creates, edits and delivers materials for all meetings
• Masters the numbers that are the basis of discussion
• Escalates any issues as needed to senior bankers
In this role, you will:- Develop and maintain models to depict projected financial results and to value companies
- Support various financial analyses, transaction strategy and deal tactics, including valuations and merger consequences
- Provide strategic management of transaction processes
- Provide input on critical dialogue and transaction negotiations
- Lead due diligence, valuation, and financial modeling efforts
- Perform comprehensive and in-depth company and industry research
- Prepare presentations and other materials for clients
- Conduct research, participate in strategic planning, and assist in the execution of advisory services
- Participate in client meetings, due diligence visits, and other client interactions to gain exposure to key executives and senior bankers
- Develop and mentor junior talent
Required Qualifications:- 2+ years of Investment Banking Program experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Job Expectations:- Registration for FINRA Series 63 (or 66) must be completed within 90 days of hire date if it is not available for transfer upon hire. FINRA recognized equivalents will be accepted.
- Registration for FINRA Series 79 must be completed within 90 days of hire date if it is not available for transfer upon hire. FINRA recognized equivalents will be accepted.
- Registration for Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) exam must be completed within 90 days of hire date if it is not available for transfer upon hire. FINRA recognized equivalents will be accepted.
