What does a successful Director, Business Operations do at Fiserv?
As a Director of Business Operations, you own the operating rules (terms and conditions) for all clients and participating members of the Fiserv owned debit payments networks.
What you will do:
- Own the regular maintenance and administration of network operating rules including leading a team that supports these objectives.
- Collaborate with pricing/analytics, product managers/strategists, legal, and corporate compliance to update, maintain and release operating rules related to existing and new products and functions of networks.
- Communicate effectively about operating rules across multiple levels within an organization both internally and externally both proactively and reactively.
- Ensure compliance with the operating rules and act as the owner of claims and arbitrations. Compliance includes working in collaboration with other groups to review, assess and communicate non-compliance situations with clients and participants.
What you will need to have:
- A Bachelor degree.
- Proven experience writing, editing and ensuring accurate distribution of information
- Project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously
- Proven problem solver with excellent analytical skills and the ability to interpret data
- Ability to look for the next question that needs to be answered
- Process oriented with the aptitude to define process/procedures and establish metrics to track operational activities
- Proficient with Microsoft Suite including SharePoint and Teams
- Strong attention to detail, quality and accuracy
- Up to 10% travel as needed
What would be great to have:
- Payments, Banking, or Financial Services/Technology industry experience
- Specific knowledge of Fiserv networks
