What does a successful Senior Implementation Project Specialist do?
A Senior Implementation Project Specialist at Fiserv plays a crucial role in delivering our solutions to our new and existing debit client base. This dynamic role involves collaboration with multiple internal teams and external clients, leading key activities to ensure the on-time completion of installation processes aligned with client requirements.
What you will do:
- Act as the primary project contact for clients and internal groups.
- Take projects from original concept through final implementation, working with internal resources and external customers.
- Provide continuous project feedback and status updates to key stakeholders.
- Develop project plans and related task lists, updating plans accordingly.
- Work with clients to determine parameter settings and input key parameters into proprietary databases.
- Manage multiple implementation tasks with other internal groups to ensure project completion in accordance with client requirements.
- Develop and maintain professional client relationships and manage expectations with respect to live dates and other key timelines.
- Maintain accurate and complete documentation and procedures identified throughout the project relating to new product/feature functionality.
- Provide occasional after-hour support for client implementations.
What you will need to have:
- 4+ years of experience in project management.
- 4+ years of experience in client services/relationships management.
- 4+ years of experience using MS-Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word, OneNote, and SharePoint).
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
- 4+ years of experience managing implementation tasks and ensuring project completion.
- High School Diploma or equivalent and/or equivalent military experience.
What would be great to have:
- Previous EFT/financial industry experience.
- Ability to multitask and support the needs of multiple clients simultaneously, following up with clients as needed.
- Project Management Certification.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to make decisions and solve problems of varying complexity.
