What you will do:
- Design, development, and delivery of backend software that drives Clover’s retail online shopping experience.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to turn business needs into clean, scalable solutions.
- Write, test, and debug high-quality Java code, and work across SQL and NoSQL databases to ensure performance and reliability.
- Build and maintain cloud-native applications using AWS, Azure, or GCP services.
- Drive improvements in our CI/CD pipeline and champion DevOps best practices across the team.
- Refactor and enhance existing codebases while guiding design and code reviews.
What you will need to have:
- Bachelor's Degree (preferably Computer Science or Engineering) or equivalent combination of experience, education and military.
- 4-6 years of experience in software development.
- 5+ years of experience in Java.
- 4+ years of experience in SQL databases and NoSQL.
- 2+ years of experience in AWS, Azure, or GCP services.
- 2+ years of experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- 2+ years of experience with Agile methodologies.
