The Opportunity:
We’re hiring a Project Manager to support the delivery of LAND 4140 – a high-impact Defence program designed to uplift and secure the Land Command, Control, Communications, and Computers (C4) Capability System. As a Project Manager, you’ll directly support the Project Director, lead project documentation and governance, and work closely with Army HQ and Defence stakeholders to ensure successful delivery across the Joint Land Force.
Responsibilities:
- Develop & maintain project documentation (e.g. PMP, Risk Plans, Sustainment Agreements)
- Contribute to business cases, risk reduction, commercial and assurance activities
- Coordinate with stakeholders across Defence and industry
- Provide support to Fundamental Inputs to Capability (FIC) activities
- Ensure alignment with the One Defence Capability System
As the ideal candidate you will bring:
- Experience drafting detailed briefs, plans, tenders and committee submissions
- Ability to manage complex projects and coordinate integrated teams
- Demonstrated stakeholder engagement and negotiation skills
- Strong understanding of Defence’s One Capability System
- NV1 clearance or above
- Relevant tertiary qualifications or industry experience
- (Desirable) AIPM membership or formal project management certification (PMBOK, PMMv2)
All candidates will be required to hold and maintain an active NV1Defence Security Clearance.
