About this role:Wells Fargo is seeking a
Lending Operations Manager with the
Structured Products Group Servicing Team within
Corporate & Investment Banking Lending OperationsThis role will ensure the timely delivery of maintenance requests, monthly reporting deliverables, and other work items within established accuracy and Service Level Agreements (SLA) requirements.
The Lending Operations Manager will be responsible for overseeing a Specialized Servicing team supporting Structured Products Group (SPG) and Commercial Mortgage Lending and Securitization Finance (CMLSF) businesses, both supported in the Loan IQ (LIQ) servicing system. The team is accountable for monetary and non-monetary activities. This leader must meet key metric targets, effectively distribute work, manage talent, execute transformation activities, ensure procedures and controls are fully and consistently adhered to in order to mitigate risk, and more.
In this role, you will:- Manage the activities of a Specialty Servicing team responsible for loan processing, documentation, pre-closing or closing tasks, loan monitoring, and loan servicing
- Engage stakeholders and internal partners associated with the Lending process from front, middle, and back offices.
- Identify and recommend opportunities for process improvement and risk control development within Lending Operations functional area
- Participate in the formulation and implementation of new and revised systems, policies, and guidelines
- Oversee implementation of practices to ensure compliance with Wells Fargo legal, investor, regulatory, or business policies
- Resolve issues regarding performance of processes and / or individuals to ensure business objectives are met
- Interpret and develop policies and procedures for functional areas with low to moderate complexity, and with accountability for special portfolio segments requiring focused management
- Collaborate and consult with front -middle- back office colleagues and multiple levels of leadership accountable for providing quality customer service to internal or external customers
- Manage allocation of people and financial resources
- Mentor and guide talent development of direct reports and hire talent
Required Qualifications:- 4+ years of Transactions and Processing experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- 2+ years of Leadership experience
Desired Qualifications:- Extensive LIQ Knowledge and LIQ Processing Experience
- Experience managing a high volume production team expected to execute with accuracy and meet target Service Level Agreements (SLA)
- Experience managing internal relationships and flawlessly executing to meet or exceed client expectations
- Proficient in data analytics (using Power BI, Tableau, and/or Excel) to use data to manage the team
- Ability to work collaboratively with bankers, QA, risk, legal teams, and internal partners
- Ability to work with senior leaders on staffing and capacity planning
- Project coordination experience
- Strong attention to detail
