Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is seeking a proactive Product Data Management Specialist to join our 767/777/787Propulsion Integration Team in Everett, WA. In this role, you'll play a pivotal role in supporting various digital tools and documentation, focusing on business performance metrics, release, and distribution of engineering activities across sustaining BCA programs and engineering functions.

The candidates must possess the ability to understand the big picture of the role's responsibilities and tasks, impact of changes in one area on another area, and be comfortable working independently and as part of a team.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Defines, documents and interprets product requirements relevant to certification, configuration, data and data management and engineering processes.
  • Develops, documents and implements plans and processes to ensure products meet technical, data, regulatory and company requirements and to maintain configuration control.
  • Tracks and reports data to monitor adherence to regulatory, data configuration and contractual requirements; supports audits and reviews to ensure products meet requirements.
  • Assists with integrated process architecture infrastructures, process models, product structure definitions and/or data requirements/data management processes.
  • Works general direction.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with multiple engineering teams.
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience with document editing processes, common practices, and techniques.
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in Configuration Management/Data Management.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in communicating with employees, customers, peers, and leadership at all levels.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience working within a cross-functional organizational environment.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, and linking worksheets.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience)

  • Proficiency in Boeing configuration management principles and engineering drawing/data systems.
  • Familiarity with systems like Customer Supplier Data Transmittal (CSDT), Design Change Classification System (DCCS), Engineering Change Control (ECC), Global Service Engagement Platform (GSEP).
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in project management, using standard project management tools.
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience with BEDAT, IVS, and ETAC.
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in summarizing and/or reviewing documentation to develop informational or technical materials.

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary Pay Range Level 3: $85,000-$115,000
