Responsibilities
- Ownership includes both quality assurance and quality control for products, services, and manufacturing processes.
- Ensure conformance in manufacturing, manage incoming goods control, conduct product inspections, and oversee witness points.
- Develop and apply in-depth knowledge of technical disciplines and quality systems to execute policies and strategies.
- Utilize an understanding of key business drivers to accomplish work and integrate efforts with other teams.
- Exercise judgment and propose solutions outside of set parameters with guidance, using prior experience and on-the-job training.
- Provide informal guidance to new team members, acting as an individual contributor or early-stage people leader.
The Ideal Candidate
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college in Engineering, Quality Systems, or a related field, with a minimum of two years of experience in Quality Engineering (aviation-related experience preferred).
- OR a high school diploma/GED with at least 6 years of experience in Quality Engineering (aviation-related experience preferred).
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems.
- Established project management skills.
- ASQ Certified Quality Engineer certification.

- Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40
- Background Check: All candidates will undergo a background check.

- Physical Requirements: Must be able to perform tasks related to quality inspections and audits.
- Work Environment: This role requires working in an industrial setting with exposure to factory conditions.
