Financial Analyst

ResponsibilitiesAssist in the preparation of presentations, offering memorandums and financial reports for investment sales transactionsAnalyze and evaluate rent rolls and operating statements of properties being considered for sale to determine feasibility and valuationPrepare pro forma statements and projections which accurately reflect past history of properties, as well as current and projected future market conditionsPrepare discounted cash flow analyses for various income producing propertiesIdentify critical property level financial issues and make recommendationsResearch, analyze, and evaluate market feasibility for various real estate transactionsConvey all particulars of a transaction (financial projections, competitive position, opportunities, market and location overviews, etc.) in formal written format, for marketing materials presented to clientsUtilize and maintain databases which track investment sales activity, construction pipeline, and other relevant real estate metricsAssist in site inspections and property toursAssist in collecting and evaluating required due diligence for sales transactions including interfacing with clients to ensure that required information is provided in a timely and effective mannerRequirements1 - 2 years of experience preferredBachelor's Degree in Real Estate, Business or Finance preferred and/or training in financial modelingSome real estate experience preferred or any similar combination of education and experienceStrong financial modeling skills with core competency with Excel and ArgusThe qualified candidate will be detail oriented, able to handle multiple projects simultaneously, extremely professional, and customer service orientedStrong math, research and analytical skillsExcellent oral and written communication skillsAbility to procure and maintain state mandated salesperson’s licenseKnowledge of local markets helpfulCushman & Wakefield also provides eligible employees with an opportunity to enroll in a variety of benefit programs, generally including health, vision, and dental insurance, flexible spending accounts, health savings accounts, retirement savings plans, life, and disability insurance programs, and paid and unpaid time away from work.
