About this role:Wells Fargo is seeking a
Senior Lending Operations Manager with the
Structured Products Group Servicing Team within
Corporate & Investment Banking Lending Operations, supporting the firm's fastest-growing business. As this growth accelerates, so does the need to support our businesses and partners.
The Lending Operations Manager will be responsible for overseeing a Middle Office team supporting Structured Products Group (SPG) and Commercial Mortgage Lending and Securitization Finance (CMLSF) businesses, both supported in the Loan IQ (LIQ) servicing system. These teams work to support complex deals, partner directly with the internal and external clients, and work to identify way to enhance the client and processing experience.
In this role, you will:- Manage and develop teams of individual contributors and managers in roles with moderate complexity
- Engage and influence peers, stakeholders, internal partners, external clients affected by its outcome
- Support the lifecycle of Institutional trades while managing a larger group or multiple groups covering the following functions; client account onboarding, cash payments, customer service, funding operations, custodial operations, securities settlement services, structured loan operations, general ledger reconciliation, as well as, work to resolve confirmation and ISDA related issues
- Identify and recommend opportunities for process improvement and risk control development
- Collaborate with all business partners and various departments, create efficiencies and mitigate risk for team and organization
- Resolve complex issues and processes within Institutional Investment Operations
- Determine appropriate strategy to meet moderate to high risk deliverables
- Interpret and develop policies and procedures for functions with moderate complexity within scope of responsibility
- Collaborate and influence all levels of professionals including more experienced managers
- Lead team to achieve objectives and strategy
- Manage allocation of people and financial resources for Institutional Investment Operations group
- Develop and guide a culture of talent development to meet business objectives and strategy
Required Qualifications:- 6+ years of Institutional Investment Operations experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- 3+ years of management or leadership experience
Desired Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in business administration or equivalent
- 10+ years managing global operations, preferably in Structured Product Operations.
- Proven ability in partnering with various stakeholders in a complex environment
- Skilled at managing complex projects and initiatives
- Effective leadership across lines of business and key stakeholders
- Strong record of delivering results and decision-making in complex problems
- Transformational leader leveraging technology for efficiency
- Extensive experience in risk management, including RCSA, control testing, and issue management
