What you’ll be doing...
Analyst - Prog & Proj Management role supports the Verizon Value Group’s Regulatory Compliance programs.
In this position, you will collaborate with business areas and compliance resources within Value and VCG, as well as the compliance GTS teams. You'll evaluate requests from business owners to determine information sources and needs, identify existing metrics, and gather input from stakeholders. Your role involves gathering inputs to support decision-making related to delivering work that addresses business requests. Additionally, you'll contribute to the delivery of work by providing input on potential reporting, monitoring, and control requirements, and by conducting user acceptance testing.
Assist in building strong requirements that incorporate all stakeholder concerns and viewpoints.
Communicate requirements to GTS resources on agile teams and contribute to the strategy and planning for developing and releasing functionality as well as helping to identify any information needed to proceed with design and development work.
Assist in formulating recommendations related to monitoring and reporting that would reduce risk by increasing visibility to proper functioning of compliance required features or experiences.
Perform user acceptance testing for functionality releasing to production.
Participate in production testing of compliance controls and make corresponding updates to compliance reporting on test results.
Provide input to the communication of project updates, issues, and impacts to leadership.
Provide input into regulatory, operational, and reputational risks and issues and contribute to recommendations for remediation activities, reporting and monitoring.
Collaborate with other team members to evaluate operational controls across diverse functional areas and product portfolios.
Partner with cross-functional teams to provide insights into control issues and design needs with supervision by leadership
Under the direction of leadership, come up with, understand, and use new ideas to formulate, interpret, and assist in implementation design to ensure a strong control environment.
When we're looking for...
You’ll need to have:
Bachelor’s degree or one or more years of relevant experience required, demonstrated through work experience and/or military experience.
Exposure/knowledge of the Agile Development framework.
Even better if you have:
Experience in Audit, Risk Management, Information Security, and/or Operational Assurance.
Experience with Agile Development framework and processes.
Basic knowledge and some experience with controls standards and regulatory compliance requirements.
Working knowledge of CCPA, GDPR and other privacy laws
Some experience interpreting and implementing policies and processes.
Strong analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills with the ability to exercise sound and balanced judgment.
Some experience in data analysis and summarization skills.
Exposure to operational compliance, information security, analytics & reporting.
Some experience in testing or in developing and executing audit/test procedures.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Effective organizational and interpersonal skills.
In this hybrid role, you'll have a defined work location that includes work from home and a minimum eight assigned office days per month that will be set by your manager.

The salary will vary depending on your location and confirmed job-related skills and experience. This is an incentive based position with the potential to earn more. For part-time roles, your compensation will be adjusted to reflect your hours.The annual salary range for the location(s) listed on this job requisition based on a full-time schedule is: $54,500.00 - $98,000.00.
