About this role:Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Software Engineer to join Wells Fargo CVA team. We are looking for someone who is stimulated by challenges and are ready to engage with systems at scale. Someone who can test, learn and do POC and should be having experience in micro services architecture, messaging and cloud technologies.
In this role, you will:- Lead complex technology initiatives including those that are companywide with broad impact
- Act as a key participant in developing standards and companywide best practices for engineering complex and large scale technology solutions for technology engineering disciplines
- Design, code, test, debug, and document for projects and programs
- Review and analyze complex, large-scale technology solutions for tactical and strategic business objectives, enterprise technological environment, and technical challenges that require in-depth evaluation of multiple factors, including intangibles or unprecedented technical factors
- Make decisions in developing standard and companywide best practices for engineering and technology solutions requiring understanding of industry best practices and new technologies, influencing and leading technology team to meet deliverables and drive new initiatives
- Collaborate and consult with key technical experts, senior technology team, and external industry groups to resolve complex technical issues and achieve goals
- Lead projects, teams, or serve as a peer mentor
Required Qualifications, US:- 5+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- 5+ years of experience in microservices development
- 5 + years of Core Java experience
Desired Qualifications:- 3+ years of Agile experience
- 4+ years of public cloud experience
- 5+ years of experience working with middleware vendor messaging technologies
- An industry-standard technology certification
- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Job Expectations:- Position will require onsite presence at one of the required locations listed below in a hybrid work schedule

- Your responsibility will be to Design and build scalable and high-performing services that handle millions of customer conversations monthly. Demonstrate up-to-date expertise and apply this to the development, execution, and improvement of action plans by providing expert advice and guidance to others in the application of information and best practices, supporting and aligning efforts to meet customer and business needs and building commitment for perspectives and rationales.
- Drives and participates in design, development, and implementation of large and complex application, owning your solution through implementation.
- Works closely with developers and testers to ensure requirements and functional designs are translated accurately into working technical designs, and that test plans and scripts meet customer needs.
- Works with developers and business partners to understand application defects, performance problems, and data anomalies.
- Drives requirements and design discussions.
Pay RangeReflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.
$133,300.00 - $237,100.00
