As Supv Production Accounting, you will be leading a team coordinating a variety of high complexity assignments involving advanced technical knowledge of accounting principles and production/revenue practices in the industry. You will provide guidance including planning, reviewing and evaluating accounting projects. You will provide leadership on financial matters, both within and outside the production/revenue area, while facilitating long range financial studies

Responsibilities/Expectations:
- Oversees a team to review daily/monthly allocations and ensures accuracy in volume reporting
- Leads a team to review reconciliations of run tickets, meter readings, and purchaser statements
- Ensures compliance with state and federal reporting requirements
- Acts as the primary liaison between field operations and accounting
- Provides training and mentorship to junior accountants
- Participates in acquisition/divestiture setup and integration tasks
- Handles escalated discrepancies and complex allocation issues
- Other duties as assigned
Education/Years of Experience:
- Required: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance; a minimum of six (6) years of multifaceted accounting experience
- Preferred: Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Council of Petroleum Accountants Societies (COPAS), or equivalent industry certifications
Other Requirements:
- Demonstrates excellent organizational/interpersonal skills and safety as the utmost priority
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Application and PC skills
- Deep understanding of accounting procedures and policies pertaining to the Upstream industry
- Preferred: Experience leading or supervising a team
