What does a success Solutions Engineer at Fiserv do?
The Solutions Engineer - Restaurant will serve as a technical liaison to sales representatives and customer success associates selling Clover Hospitality product solutions to restaurants. You will provide product expertise and ensure prospects with unique or complex needs successfully adopt and utilize our restaurant products. In this role, you will be the go-to expert on our products for merchant-facing teams. You will conduct technical demos, address in-depth product questions, and work with potential customers to craft tailored solutions that fit their unique operations and needs.
What you will do:
- Collaborate with sales reps to understand prospect needs and recommend tailored solutions
- Conduct engaging, solutions-oriented technical demos that highlight key functionality and customer benefits
- Serve as the go-to expert for answering technical and product-related questions from sales teams
- Partner with prospective customers to troubleshoot and resolve technical challenges during the pre-sales phase
- Work closely with Product, Implementation, and Customer Success teams to ensure seamless transitions from prospect to customer
- Document and communicate customer requirements, feature requests, and feedback to the Product team to improve our offerings
- Stay up to date on industry trends, competitor products, and evolving restaurant technology needs to ensure our solution remains a market leader
What you need to have:
- 7+ years of experience in designing and implementing technology solutions
- Excellent communication skills: Able to speak to both technical and non-technical teams in a language and manner that they understand
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Experience with restaurant technology, Point of Sale systems, or related software is a strong plus
- Familiarity with APIs, integrations, software, and hardware configuration
- Able to travel (15% of the time)
