What does a Successful Pricing Advisor Manager do at Fiserv?
As a Pricing Advisor Manager at Fiserv, you will play a pivotal role in leading pricing proposals to support a diverse range of channels and solutions across the Merchant Business. In this position, you will focus on building value by partnering with sales to structure opportunities that span the entire Fiserv enterprise. Your responsibilities will include the structuring, presentation, and negotiation of complex commercial arrangements.
What you will do:
- Lead all pricing and pre-sales financial analysis, ensuring alignment with Fiserv’s strategic goals.
- Review and support the creation and structure of pricing frameworks, as well as the broader financial architecture and negotiation of business terms to balance customer needs with Fiserv’s financial, risk, and corporate policy requirements.
- Develop comprehensive P&L and discounted cash flow models.
- Support cost or deal optimization to improve Fiserv’s win probability and financial outcomes.
- Engage in client negotiations.
- Help identify, quantify, and report on financial and commercial risks, including risk mitigation strategies associated with Management Committee opportunities.
- Identify, develop, and report metrics, analytics, and insights into bid performance, with a focus on improving profitability, speed, efficiency, and effectiveness of bids and quotes.
- Concentrate on key areas such as large deal reviews, new customer acquisition, retention/renewals, and customer self-service, including providing pricing guidance and scoring.
- As needed, develop pricing and financial solutions for large and complex opportunities, and support sales in the negotiation of financial and business terms.
- Ensure compliance with Fiserv’s deal governance requirements and provide quality assurance for all pricing and financial modeling related to bid activities.
What you will need to have:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
- 3-4years of experience in pricing strategy, sales operations, financial analysis, or a related field within the financial services or technology industries.
- Proven experience in managing complex pricing projects and negotiations.
- Advanced excel experience
What will be great to have:
- Master’s degree or MBA with a focus on Finance, Economics, or Business Strategy.
- 7+ years of experience in pricing management or financial analysis within the financial services, technology, or payments industry.
- Familiarity with pricing software or advanced analytics tools.
- Experience with ERP systems and data visualization software (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
