The Role:
Looking for energetic Industrial Engineers to be part of a diverse Manufacturing Operations Performance Reporting Team. The team is responsible for maintaining, consolidating, and analyzing performance metrics to support waste elimination that maximizes productivity.
The ability to work in in a dynamic, fast-paced industrial engineering environment is critical to your success. You will engage with Plant Industrial Engineers, Manufacturing Excellence Shop Directors, Continuous Improvement Teams, and Manufacturing Operations Finance Teams. You will be an integral contributor to develop headcount and hours during the annual budget and long-term planning process.
What You Will Do (Responsibilities):
Global Workbook
- Global Workbook is our corporate common tool for maintaining and reporting performance metrics; you will be the subject matter expert for the tool and the performance metrics
- You will conduct monthly data consolidation for your sector
- You will provide reporting and insight regarding performance to plan
- You will support annual reviews of globally common rule sets
- You will support Shop Directors, CI Teams, and Manufacturing Leadership, with data analysis, to drive continuous improvement and benchmark performance
Long-term Plan Development
- You will analyze volume sets and/or capacity planning data to develop headcount and hours in support of established performance goals
- You will provide supporting documentation to leadership, detailing any variances to prior plan
- You will interface with Manufacturing Finance and Manufacturing Planning Teams to derive the information
Budget Development
- You will develop budgeted headcount and hours for each GMNA plant in your sector
- You will work closely with Manufacturing Operations Finance and Continuous Improvement Teams to ensure Headcount and Hours are aligned with the allowable cost
- You will provide a detailed walk for the cost drivers and provide insight for variance to long-term plan
- You will engage with plant Industrial Engineers to gain additional insight into near-term drivers of headcount and hours
- Ability to consolidate and provide analysis of large amounts of data for actionable direction.
