What does a successful Relationship Manager do at Fiserv?
As a successful Relationship Manager, you will assume the relationship management role in leading the Fiserv overall Output business relationship with a large client from a strategic and consultative perspective. You will be responsible for managing and growing the overall relationship with senior-level decision makers and influencers at assigned client to create customer loyalty , grow product penetration and increase revenues.
What you will do:
- Serve as the primary point of contact and information resource to clients, sales support, marketing, and management regarding ongoing Output operations for one of Fiserv’s largest clients.
- Develop and implement account plans that drive incremental Fiserv revenue through the creation of profitable deal constructs and innovative partnerships.
- Identify and build a pipeline of revenue-generating opportunities that increase profitability and contribution margin of the partnership.
- Obtain assigned sales quota through contract renewals and the sale of various products and services to the assigned client portfolio in partnership with product sales SMEs.
- Negotiate and close sales deals to ensure a positive partnership for both the client and Fiserv.
- Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to potential clients to showcase the benefits of our payment solutions.
- Conduct a regular cadence of communication with the client at all levels and disciplines by effectively articulating the Fiserv value proposition.
- Ensure proactive accountability to the client leading to enhanced client experience and retention.
What you will need to have:
- 5+ years of experience in the card plastics, print or mail and digital market
- Experience in relationship management, sales and/or account management in print/credit card processing, payments or banking
- Experience managing, growing relationships and implementing cross functional strategies to drive growth with large clients.
- Experience working in the financial technology or print/credit card processing industry.
- Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education, work, and/or military experience.
What would be great to have:
- Knowledge of business and operations in Banking and Credit Card Processing
- Knowledge of Fiserv systems and Issuer Solutions in the Output space.
- Knowledge of eCRM tools/Salesforce applications.
- Experience in sales and negotiating techniques and consultative selling skills with a consistent track record to negotiate, close deals and generate results in a timely manner
- Knowledge of Output industry trends and the competitive landscape
- Familiarity with Fiserv issuer solutions in the Output (Credit card processing, production or print) space

- This role is on-site Monday through Friday. Fiserv considers in-person collaboration to be an essential part of this role as in-person office experiences help you with your overall onboarding.
- In order to be considered, you must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without need for sponsorship now or in the future.
- Travel required: Up to 20% domestic travel.
