What does a successful Project Manager, Implementation Services - Digital Solutions do?
A successful Project Manager in our Implementation Services team coordinates consulting teams and manages billable product implementation, enhancement, and integration projects. As a key member of the Digital Solutions Group, this role involves conducting kickoff meetings across departments and ensuring smooth communication with senior leadership. This position offers the chance to work with leading technology in a financial services industry leader.
What you will do:
- Oversee and manage all aspects of billable projects from initiation through delivery.
- Coordinate groups of consulting teams performing billable product implementation, enhancement, and integration projects.
- Serve as a liaison between the company and clients to ensure all targets and requirements are met.
- Track and assign resources, provide status updates, create metrics, and perform overall management of project timelines and deliverables.
- Recommend additional products/services to clients or design customized solution specifications as needed.
- Ensure all billable projects are completed on schedule and within budget.
- Perform duties at client sites when necessary.
What you will need to have:
- 5+ years of client-facing Project Management experience managing the implementation of multi-product solutions as a program for new clients.
- 3+ years of experience in the financial industry, preferably with online banking.
- Advanced knowledge of project lifecycle methodologies.
- Ability to gather, analyze, and interpret data, identify and define problems, and make recommendations for resolution.
- Experience planning and proactively managing project financials/budgets, reporting progress, and ensuring profitability.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and/or equivalent military experience.
- Proficiency with Project Management Tools including MS Project and Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Visio).
What would be great to have:
- Six Sigma Yellow or Green belt certification.
- PMP certification.
- Solid knowledge of and demonstrated experience in project management processes and methodologies.
- Knowledge of and demonstrated experience in the development project lifecycle (E.g., design, development, testing, implementation, etc.).
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build solid relationships with external clients and internal business partners, including C-level stakeholders.
- Well-developed negotiation skills with crisp communication and presentation skills.
- Problem-solving skills with the ability to perform root cause analysis.
- Ability to build consensus and manage detailed and big-picture orientations.
