Participates in the process of integrating software from T1 vendors, Android Open Source Platform (AOSP), and Android applications developed in GM into the common GM platform baseline for the infotainment domain. Works closely with other DevOps engineers as well as development teams on integration tasks and provides technical leadership for some of the projects within SDV DevOps realm. Participates in defining and implementing team’s innovation roadmap. Integrates Android and Tier-1 vendors supplied software into the common platform baseline. Maintains Android application build and integration lifecycle. Supports GM developers with configuring their applications. Works on setting up and managing DevOps tools. Develops scripts for automating SCM tasks. Drives platform configurability to keep software platform common. Helps with monitoring and optimizing Jenkins builds, including build performance aspects. Setups new branches and new build lines. Takes part in source code synchronization between vendor sites and GM. Participates SCM innovation projects. Supports other Infotainment engineers with the process and tools used for developing software. Hybrid role with 3 days In-office, 2 days remote. Must be able to report to local office.
