The Field Inventory Manager (FIM) is responsible for inventory and in-stock health of stores within areas of responsibility and serves as primary liaison between Store Ops RVP and District Managers with SSC Inventory teams to ensure localized execution of inventory strategy.
SOFT SKILLS:
• Collaborates cross-functionally with Field Merchandising, Core Merchandising and SSC Inventory teams on all inventory related topics
• Own and communicate inventory status that impact in-stock, upcoming resets, seasonal flow and sell-through to the regional field organization
• Build strong relationships with cross functional partners and actively support cross-functional initiatives (Pro, Flex, Seasonal) that support the region
COLLABORATION:
• Attend all region weekly meetings, inclusive of store walks as needed, representing inventory and communicating w/ the field and regional team on global updates
• Be the primary go to for all inventory related issues (in-stock) for cross functional regional team (RVP, DMs, Pro, Field Merch)
• Regularly connect w/ other FIMs to address and proactively manage national concerns
• Regularly attend Core Inventory Meetings to share our regional opportunities and actions
EXECUTION:
• Proactively manage Regional In-stock targets and address appropriately (working w/ core inventory teams, rebalancing RDC inventory, placing incremental orders, etc).
• Maintain the appropriate in-stock positions and manage inventory in the most effective manner across both stores and SKUs
• Support end of life allocation decisions for Seasonal exits to ensure sell-thru targets are achieved
• Ensure Promo/Pro items are supported at the appropriate depth across the region and store cluster
• Regularly review store performance to rebalance inventory within district / region to maximize sales and gross margin
• Build & Execute inventory strategies that support regional localization opportunities as well as meet inventory productivity targets
• Translate these strategies into replenishment recommendations (Load in, build strategies)
• Partake in Quarterly/Seasonal post mortems to address regional opportunities (Seasonal, Tab/Promo, Flex)
• Supports DMs and Field merchants during disaster response (Hurricane, Flood, Earthquake, Winter Storm, etc)
• Partakes in the activation of the Command Center when an event occurs within their region
• Works directly with the core inventory and Supply Chain teams to prioritize inventory flow to impacted stores
• Ensures sufficient inventory is flowing post event to address localized needs, post command center activation
• Serve as Inventory Ambassador and key partner in field for store walks or other site visits
• Serve as mentor for Store Leadership; leveraging inventory knowledge, experience and expertise

Pay Range: $98,200.00 - $164,000.00 annually Starting rate of pay may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, position offered, location, education, training, and/or experience.
