What does a successful Business Quality Analyst do?
As a Business Quality Analyst at Fiserv, you will partner with product management, business development, and implementation services to understand the operational and procedural needs of the financial services market or a financial institution. You will be responsible for developing test scenarios, test cases, test plans, executing test cases, and continuously improving the testing process and methodologies. Your role is crucial in ensuring the quality and reliability of our financial products and services.
What you will do:
- Proactively communicate and collaborate with users to analyze information needs and gather testing requirements.
- Develop and maintain test documentation as it pertains to the Enterprise Software Development Lifecycle.
- Interact with client and development teams on a regular basis to obtain requirement and design details.
- Evaluate, recommend, and support testing efforts and general test strategies.
- Develop, publish, and implement test plans.
- Provide regular progress reports, status, and metrics to management.
- Perform ad-hoc testing to support research of production support issues.
- Design and execute workflow, test case plans, implementation points, and test data before development is complete.
What you will need to have:
- 4+ years of experience in the banking/financial services industry.
- 4+ years of experience with APIs and databases.
- 4+ years of experience with MS Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Project.
- 4+ years of experience developing and executing test strategies.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, finance, business administration, and/or equivalent military experience.
What would be great to have:
- 4+ years of experience working with multiple stakeholders and/or senior leadership.
- 4+ years of experience working autonomously and driving projects to completion.
- Certification in relevant software testing methodologies.
- Advanced knowledge of SQL and database testing.
- 4+ years of experience with test automation frameworks.

- This role is on-site Monday through Friday. Fiserv considers in-person collaboration to be an essential part of this role as in-person office experiences help you with your overall onboarding experience and lead to stronger productivity.
