As a Portfolio Manager within Caterpillar Trimble Control Technologies (CTCT), you will have a passion for ensuring that grade control customers are supported in all aspects of the product life cycle. You will work with CTCT, Caterpillar and Trimble team members to capture and convey the business problems that need to be solved and the value that will result from their delivery. The Portfolio Manager will lead collaboration between Caterpillar and Trimble stakeholders to identify and document common needs to enable CTCT Product teams and enabling organizations to develop tiered solutions that are radically easy to use and aligned with the CTCT Board approved Multi Generation Product Plan (MGPP).
About Caterpillar Trimble Control Technologies (CTCT)
Our team efficiently and effectively develops machine control products that use site design information combined with positioning technology and deep domain knowledge to semi-automatically control machines. These products are used in a range of applications to enable a machine operator to perform their work safely, accurately, efficiently, sustainably, and effectively using sophisticated yet intuitive user-centric technology.
What you will do (Responsibilities):
Working with the Caterpillar, Trimble, and CTCT teams, apply your knowledge of the grade control market and its competitive landscape to provide problem statements, objectives, hypotheses, value scores, and expected outcomes to the CTCT Product Teams.
Effectively advocate for easy to use, tiered solutions that are built on the platform, upgradeable, interoperable and extensible.
Ensure data is available within CTCT to prioritize and deliver the best possible solution for our customers and assist Caterpillar and Trimble with successful product launches, sales, adoption, and usage.
Foster a culture that drives adoption, interoperability and innovation throughout the product lifecycle in partnership with product, engineering, and user experience leaders.
Top Candidates Will Have:
5+ years of product development, product management, enterprise account management, or other relevant technology leadership experience
Machine control, electronics, construction, automotive, or related industry experience

Negotiating and Influencing: Knowledge of successful negotiation concepts and techniques; ability to negotiate successfully across organizations
in a constructive and collaborative manner. Ability to establish relationships with or influence others regardless of authority.
Relationship Management: Knowledge of relationship management techniques; ability to establish and maintain healthy working
relationships with business partners, stakeholders, internal teams, and peers. Experience working in a collaborative global team with cultural differences.
Account Management: Knowledge of account management; ability to manage day-to-day activities, providing services and support to

Summary Pay Range:
$126,000.00 - $189,000.00
Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
