SimOps/STK Engineer

KBR is seeking an engineer with expertise in SimOps and the use of System Tool Kit to support one of our IC customers in Chantilly, VA. This position requires an understanding of the intelligence community and customer domain, along with a strong focus on core systems engineering processes in support of end-to-end mission and services closure. This position requires technical interaction with a diverse team of Systems Engineering/Technical Assistance (SETA) and Contracted Administrative Assistance Services (CAAS) team members as well as providing technical and programmatic oversight of the various Development Contractors across the Enterprise.

Key Responsibilities:
Briefings: Interacting with multiple Acquisition Offices (AOs) and supporting technical consultation, meeting coordination, and supporting recommendation briefings
Acquisition: Working with team- leads, program managers, and acquisition professionals to validate that an acquisition strategy will support a technically feasible outcome
Requirements: Integrating new systems and initiatives in support of customer/mission partner requirements and work directly with our developers and users in operations
Interfaces: Understanding system-to-system interfaces and act as an Integrator
Schedules: Monitoring system and segment schedules while recognizing dependencies.
Risks: Identifying risks and opportunities
Meetings: Organizing and managing meetings and information sessions
Workflows: Identifying and automating workflows
Reporting: Preparation of presentations and reports
Agile: Applying Agile principles to management of a government/contractor software development team working disparate projects – informing lines of authority, maintaining status, and distributing workload
Identify: Coordinating partnerships with mission partners and domain expertise to identify capability gaps to identify project opportunities

Required:
Security Clearance Requirements: TS/SCI with Polygraph
Education: A technical degree: 10 to 12 years with BS/BA or 8 to 10 years with MS/MA or 5 to 7 years with PhD
STK: Certification and experience with Systems Tool Kit (STK)
IC: Intelligence Community (IC)knowledge and work history
Agile: Prior Agile software development experience delivering new capabilities using Agile methodologies
Requirements: Experience identifying user and enterprise needs/requirements and gap identification, analysis, and assessment
