What does a great Client Support Specialist do? As a Client Support Specialist I, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional support to Merchant Services clients, helping them deliver credit card and payment solutions to their customers. Your balanced focus on first call resolution and recognizing platform solutions will help clients grow their business. You will gain extensive knowledge of multiple products and develop the ability to deepen and retain relationships through service and sales, while performing routine account-related transactions, solving problems, and investigating/resolving a wide variety of issues and requests.
What you will do:
- Act as a primary point of contact for day-to-day merchant inquiries.
- Address clients' immediate and future needs.
- Navigate through various Merchant Services subsystems, including North and South.
- Effectively respond to merchant issues regarding interchange and chargeback compliance, merchant billing.
- Explain system and product reporting to merchants to resolve their concerns.
- Resolve merchant inquiries regarding billing, reporting, payments, products, and solutions.
What you will need to have:
- High School Diploma or equivalent and/or equivalent military experience.
- Previous contact center/customer service experience.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite Products.
- Ability to work in an office environment, sitting most of the time at a desk in front of a computer, involving close visual acuity for activities such as preparing and analyzing data and entering data on a computer.
What would be great to have:
- 2+ years of experience in customer service or a related contact center role.
- Familiarity with Merchant Services systems and subsystems.
- Experience in handling interchange and chargeback compliance issues.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on first call resolution.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
