Sr. Account Representative, Equipment Business Development - Refineries
KBR is a leading provider of Sustainable Technology Solutions for Refining, Clean Ammonia and Hydrogen, Petrochemical, Recycling, and Inorganics. We are committed to delivering innovative solutions to our clients and are looking for a dynamic Sales Engineer to join our team.
KBR is seeking for an Equipment Business Development - Refineries professional to join the Technology Solutions team. This position reports to the Manager, Business Development and is responsible for driving sales by providing technical expertise and support to customers. This role involves working closely with the sales team to understand customer needs, develop solutions, and present technical information in a clear and compelling manner. Additionally, the Sales Engineer will engage with refiners within the US to inquire about their needs on revamp projects, ensuring our solutions align with their specific requirements.
Functional job responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Technical Support: Collaborate with the sales team to identify customer requirements and provide technical solutions.
Product Demonstrations: Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to showcase the features and benefits of our solutions.
Customer Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.
Proposal Development: Prepare and deliver technical proposals and quotations to customers.
Market Analysis: Analyze market trends and competitor offerings to identify opportunities for growth.
Training: Provide training and support to customers on the use of our products and solutions.
Feedback: Gather customer feedback and work with the product development team to improve our offers.
Required Education, Experience, & Skills:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in engineering, or a related field.
Experience: 7+ years of experience in a sales engineering role or similar.
Technical Skills: Strong technical knowledge in design and fabrication of Critical Equipment used in Oil and Gas Refineries.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Problem-Solving: Ability to analyze complex problems and develop effective solutions.
Customer Focus: Strong customer service orientation and ability to build lasting relationships.
Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
