What You'll Be Doing
Manage purchase orders, vendor compliance, and procurement channels to ensure timely and accurate sourcing of goods and services.
Drive cost savings through competitive quoting, negotiation, and strategic supplier selection using tools like Ariba.
Support contract lifecycle activities, including vendor onboarding, contract entry, and compliance tracking.
Collaborate with internal teams to train users on procurement systems and processes, ensuring adherence to company policies.
Monitor procurement performance metrics, resolve invoice discrepancies, and report on operational status to leadership.
What Are We Looking For
Minimum of 5 years of experience in purchasing and/or materials management or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Bachelor's degree in Business or Accounting strongly preferred
Strong communication, problem-solving, and relationship-building skills across all organizational levels.
Proficiency in SAP, Ariba, and Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel.
Ability to manage procurement operations independently and collaboratively.
Demonstrated capability to train others and ensure process compliance.
Work Environment
This position operates in a professional office setting with occasional visits to plant or supplier locations. It requires collaboration across various departments and may involve limited travel.
