Floor Technician is responsible for
cleaning and maintaining floors through shampooing, extraction, stripping, and waxing, ensuring high standards of cleanliness and safety in accordance with company procedures.

Basic Qualifications: • Must be 18 years of age or older

Floor care experience highly preferred • No high school diploma, GED or college degree required
Preferred Qualifications: •
Floor care experience highly preferred • Customer service experience
• 1 year of similar work experience
Responsibilities: - Clean and maintain floors in accordance with company standards.
- Perform floor care tasks, including shampooing, extraction, stripping, and waxing floors using appropriate equipment and techniques.
- Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment to prevent damage to floors and fixtures.
- Notify the manager concerning the need for minor or major repairs or additions to building operating systems.
- Establish and maintain effective communication and working relationships with clients, co-workers, shift coordinators, supervisors, and managers.
- Comply with all safety, security, compliance, and quality standards and procedures established by the company, clients, and regulatory authorities.
- Maintain cleanliness of equipment used for floor care and ensure all tools are in good working condition.
- Move furniture and equipment as necessary to access and clean all areas of the floor.
- Gather and empty trash from floor areas and ensure common spaces are tidy.
- Perform incidental seasonal tasks, such as snow removal or maintenance of outdoor walkways, as needed.
