What does a successful Implementation Engineer ( Golang) do at Fiserv? A successful Implementation Engineer at Fiserv is a passionate technologist capable of developing, managing, and showcasing innovative solutions to complex business problems leveraging the Finxact Core APIs and technical features. With a focus on ensuring customer success, the Implementation Engineer provides technical consulting to clients and serves as a subject matter expert on the Finxact Core APIs and integration points. This role encompasses all components of client implementations, training, product feedback, and client support.
What you will do:
- Obtain and maintain an in-depth understanding of Finxact’s technology and its underlying architecture.
- Work with clients to solve complex business problems, troubleshoot, and use the Finxact Core and its surroundings.
- Communicate complex technical concepts to various audiences.
- Interface directly with ecosystem partners, clients, and internal teams to promote the adoption of our product.
- Support the technical design process by participating in the analysis of technical application and client ecosystem requirements.
- Assist in analysis to identify requirements related to people, processes, and technology.
- Develop and code core functionality and interfaces for our solution.
- Participate in the execution and documentation of tests.
- Assist in the deployment process for client implementations.
What you will need to have:
- 6+ years of experience in API and software development.
- 6+ years of experience with functional, imperative, and/or object-oriented languages.
- 6+ years of experience developing technical documentation or system architecture.
- 6+ years of experience in technical troubleshooting and debugging.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field and/or equivalent military experience.
What would be great to have:
- Financial industry experience.
- Knowledge of Golang programming.
- 4+ years of experience in customer-facing roles.
- 3+ years of experience with integration models and workflows.
- 4+ years of experience in project management tools like JIRA and Confluence.
