What does a successful Senior Benefits Analyst do at Fiserv?
As a detail-oriented and results-driven Senior Benefits Analyst, you will be responsible for supporting the benefits function in a fast-paced and associate-driven environment. You will oversee various associate benefit programs such as health and wellness benefits and retirement plans, ensuring regulatory compliance, analyzing benefits programs, resolving issues, managing documentation, promoting programs, and managing projects effectively. You will have the opportunity to contribute to the execution of a benefits and wellness strategy supported at the highest levels within the organization.
What you will do?
- Manage and oversee various associate benefit programs including health, wellness benefits, and retirement plans.
- Act as the main point of contact for plan vendors and other service providers to ensure the smooth operation of all plans.
- Evaluate the utilization, coverage, return on investment and competitiveness of current programs. Make recommendations for program improvements and cost management strategies.
- Ensure compliance with government regulations and filings related to all associate benefit programs, provide recommendations for process enhancements to optimize efficiency and compliance and ensure timely and accurate processing of enrollments, correspondence and participant inquiries.
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies related to benefits programs including providing assistance in non-routine scenarios that may arise concerning benefits.
- Review and update manuals, summary plan descriptions, and other relevant benefits materials. Maintain current benefits content on company intranet and microsites.
- Develop communication materials and coordinate benefits events to enhance employee understanding of the company's benefit programs.
- Oversee projects related to benefits programs to ensure successful implementation and continuity.
What you will need to have?
- 4+ years of experience in U.S. benefits administration
- Knowledge of U.S. benefits compliance regulations such as ERISA, COBRA, FMLA, etc.
- Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field
