What does a successful Software QA Engineer do?
As a Software QA Engineer at Fiserv, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining the excellence of our software products. Your contribution will be integral in ensuring our solutions meet the highest quality standards, providing seamless and reliable experiences for our clients. Collaborating with diverse development and product teams, you'll implement best-practice QA methodologies and support continuous improvement initiatives.
What you will do:
- Execute detailed quality assurance testing for software products.
- Develop and implement comprehensive test plans and test cases.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve software defects.
- Apply best practices in quality assurance to ensure high-quality deliverables.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of automated testing scripts.
- Participate in peer reviews and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
What you will need to have:
- 4+ years of experience in software quality assurance.
- 2+ years of experience in automation testing.
- 2+ years of experience in performance testing.
- 2+ years of experience in Agile methodologies.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field and/or equivalent military experience.
What would be great to have:
- Experience with automated testing tools (e.g., Selenium, JUnit).
- Knowledge of continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) tools (e.g., Jenkins, Docker).
- Familiarity with security testing practices.
- Understanding of software development lifecycles.
- Certification in software testing methodologies.

- This role is on-site Monday through Friday. Fiserv considers in-person collaboration to be an essential part of this role as in-person office experiences help you with your overall onboarding experience and lead to stronger productivity.
