ManTech seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented
Software Developer to join our team in
Lexington Park, MD. This is an
onsite position.
Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To
- Researching, designing, and developing computer and network software or specialized utility programs
- Conducting analysis of user needs and developing solutions by applying computer science, engineering, and mathematical analysis techniques
- Updating software and enhancing existing software capabilities
- Working with computer hardware engineers to integrate hardware and software systems, develop specifications, and performance requirements.
- Maintaining databases within an application area
- Working individually and in coordination with the database development group as a team
- May be responsible for oversight of lower-level developers
Minimum Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science or an IT-related discipline and 10 years of experience relevant to the responsibilities listed above
- Experience working with one or more of the following programming languages: C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, Structured Query Language (SQL) and/or Python
- Experience utilizing Microsoft products, specifically Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience developing and/or updating software associated with Navy weapons
Clearance Requirements
- Must have a current and active Secret Clearance or ability to obtain prior to starting on program
Physical Requirements
- Tasking is primarily computer based.
- The person in this position must be able to operate and perform tasking on a PC.
- Must be able to effectively communicate with co-workers, customers, and management through email, phone, and other virtual communication methods.
