What does a Senior Technical Release Manage do?
The eMAXS Senior Technical Release Manager (m/f/d) has the entire software development lifecycle of the acquiring-backend under control. This includes the applications APS (Acquiring Processing System), GTR (General Transaction Retrieval), and DIAS (Data Interface ASsistant).
What you will do:
- Responsible for the configuration management of the acquiring-backend using Endevor on the mainframe
- Management of test and development environments
- Deploy test data to the test environments using provided jobs on the mainframe
- Maintenance of IBM Optim / PST processes for data anonymization and deletion
- Maintenance of DB2 Reorg processes
- Check and execution of software packages delivered by offshore developers
- Tracking of bugs and defects in Jira
- Checking the access paths to the DB2 database during the software rollout
- Close cooperation with the IT architects
- Preparation and coordination of the software rollout on 6 weekends a year
What you will have:
- Successful studies in computer science, business informatics, mathematics, or comparable certificate
- At least 5 years of experience as a configuration manager or release manager
- Excellent knowledge of configuration management of software components on the mainframe
- Confident use of tools on the mainframe (IBM z/OS)
- Practical experience as an application data base administrator for DB2 on the mainframe
- Experience with job scheduling and JCL on the mainframe
- Knowledge of software development process models (waterfall and agile)
- Fluent in written and spoken English and German (EFR B2/C1)
What would be great to have
- Knowledge of the configuration management tool Endevor on the mainframe
- Knowledge of the Control-M job scheduler on the mainframe
- Experience with Jira
