What does a successful Sr UX Designer do at Fiserv?
As a Sr UX Designer, you will be part of a talented UX team dedicated to creating user-centered design solutions. This role involves leading the design, development, and implementation of intuitive and engaging user experiences that align with our strategic goals.
You will drive innovation through iterative design, integrating research findings, stakeholder feedback, and user testing insights to continuously improve user experiences. You will also perform requirement analysis and finalize project scopes in collaboration with business and IT stakeholders, ensuring readiness for the upcoming phase or sprint.
In addition you will demonstrate best practices for production considerations and methods, ensuring designs are feasible and can be seamlessly integrated into product experiences. You will mentor and provide guidance to junior UX designers and team members, sharing best practices and fostering professional growth.

What you will do:
- Lead the design, development, and implementation of user experience strategies for Fiserv’s digital products and solutions, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and user-centered principles.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, engineers, and researchers, to gather user requirements and translate them into detailed design specifications.
- Conduct comprehensive user research through interviews, surveys, usability testing, and contextual inquiry to gather insights on user needs, behaviors, and pain points. Leverage this research to drive and validate design decisions.
- Create and iterate on wireframes, prototypes, high-fidelity mockups, and interaction flows that effectively communicate design ideas and user interactions.
- Apply various ideation methods to generate design artifacts that clearly convey the intended goal or purpose, following best practices in typography, color, grid, and composition.
- Ensure the designs align with Fiserv's visual design language and brand guidelines, producing high-quality, consistent experiences across web and mobile environments, including knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Android UI, and iOS UI.
- Evangelize the User-Centered Iterative Design Process, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and user-focused design.
- Present design concepts and rationale to stakeholders, advocating for the value of user-centered design while incorporating feedback to refine designs.
What you will need to have:
- 6+ years of experience in user experience/product design
- 3+ years of experience in research interviewing, usability testing, competitive & comparative analysis, and contextual inquiry
- 3+ years of experience with tools such as Sketch, Figma, or Adobe XD
- 3+ years of experience with Agile methodologies
- 3+ years of Design Thinking/Workshop facilitation experience
- 1+ years of experience in AI integration in a case study in building a product
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, military, and work experience
