KBR is looking for an PDM Technician -PDM Technician will play a vital role for our project in the Eastern Region of Saudi Arabia by ensuring the reliability and efficiency of machinery and equipment for KBR. This role will focus on monitoring the health of and identifying equipment with possible problems before they lead to failure. The PDM Technician will use a range of predictive and preventive maintenance software, applications, and data collection instruments. This role is essential to preventing downtime and loss of productivity.
Responsibilities:
- Reporting to PM & PDM Administration Supervisor.
- Demonstrates a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to safety policies in all work environments and areas.
- Prepare daily work permit and close on expiration date.
- Collect offline vibration data by using Portable data analyzer.
- Collect online vibration data by using online monitoring software like System-1, RecipCom, Prognost.
- Do phase analysis and other addition test, based on requirement.
- Prepare preliminary analysis report and share with PM & PdM Administration Supervisor.
- Vibration analysis including, but not limited to: Establishing/installing computerized routes for data collection and analytical parameters for equipment.
- Analyze data using AMS software.
- Provide preliminary filed observations, like, high vibration abnormal noise, high bearing temperature, cavitation, oil leak, seal leak.
- Follow-up on the results of recommendations as a quality control measure.
- Review parameters and adjust as required for continuous improvement.
- Other duties as assigned by Vibration Monitoring Supervisor.
- Assist co-workers in diagnosing malfunctions in machinery and equipment
- Assist team(s) with maintaining, operating and troubleshooting systems and equipment
- Actively participate in department meetings and facility teams relating to the improvement of the Reliability Team, plant safety, quality, innovation and efficiency.
- Trained to new vibration Technician-I.
Qualifications:
Required Education: Diploma Mechanical Engineering or 3 years of equivalent course.
Required Certification: ISO Cat-II vibration analysis.
Required Work Experience: Min. 10 years in Vibration Monitoring field.
Required Computer and Software Skills: Microsoft Office/AMS/Prognost/System-1/RecipCom/SAP.
