As a global leader in smart, healthy, and sustainable buildings, Johnson Controls is seeking a Ctrls Systems Tech III to perform assigned system commissioning using Johnson Controls configuration and commissioning tools. Responsibilities include troubleshooting and resolving electrical and control problems, responding to basic warranty calls, loading system-level controller software, performing commissioning/sequence verification on system level controllers to end devices (sensors, actuators, etc.), completing all required commissioning documentation, calibrating system components using electronic test equipment, completing administrative tasks such as time sheets, expense reports, and on-site documentation, documenting changes and providing information for as-built documentation, communicating with JCI contractor or customer upon arrival and before leaving the work site, and following all safety standards and attending required safety training with a high regard for employee and subcontractor safety. The work shift is from 7:00 to 4:00 with one hour lunch, dependent on job/customer schedule. Required qualifications include demonstrated technical aptitude, ability to use hand and power tools, computer/BAS programming skills, attention to detail, effective communication and listening skills, knowledge of HVAC systems, and 5-7 years of prior BAS programming skills. Depending on location, mounting and termination of low voltage devices may have special licensing requirements.
